The midwives at Dar a Luz consult and collaborate with many other providers throughout the Albuquerque area and surrounding communities. We collaborate with nurse-midwives and physicians at Lovelace Women's Hospital, Presbyterian and University Hospital. We also collaborate with perinatologists, chiropractors, mental health providers, acupuncturists and physical and occupational therapists. We will help guide our clients to the best providers for complimentary therapies as well as additional medical care outside of our scope of practice. None of our consultants are on staff and do not care for our clients at the center.

New Life Birth Services provides 24/7 emergency transfer support as well as private-hire doula services to Dar a Luz families. They have birth and postpartum doulas that support birth anywhere their clients choose. New Life also provides group and private prenatal yoga sessions and provide placenta encapsulation services.

Roots of Empathy is a world-wide organization with local project coordinators. Its mission is to reduce aggression and bullying in children and adults through experiences with babies. If your baby is due in May, June or July, please consider volunteering with this evidence-based program that is proven to reduce bullying and aggression in schools. What do you do as a volunteer?
